BestReviews.deals earns money through affiliate commissions. This page explains exactly how that works, because you deserve to know what our incentives are before you trust anything we publish.
Amazon Associates Program
BestReviews.deals is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, BestReviews.deals earns from qualifying purchases.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date and time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of the product.
The short version
When you click through to a retailer from this site and buy something, that retailer may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not out of your pocket, and it is not added to your total.
How the links work
Outbound links on this site pass through a redirect that attaches an affiliate tracking identifier before handing you off to the retailer. That identifier is how a network knows the visit came from us. It carries no information about who you are.
We work with three affiliate networks: FlexOffers, Impact, and CJ Affiliate. Assume that any link from this site to a retailer is an affiliate link.
What commissions do not buy
Commission rates vary by retailer, which creates an obvious temptation to favor the ones that pay best. We handle that with rules rather than good intentions:
- Placement is not for sale. No retailer can pay us for a listing, for a higher position, or for inclusion in any roundup. We have never accepted such an arrangement and we do not offer one.
- Ordering follows the discount, not the payout. What appears near the top of a page is determined by the size and freshness of the markdown. Commission rate is not an input.
- The listing rules are uniform. The same minimum discount and the same quality filters apply to every retailer, whatever it pays. Those rules are written out on our How We Source Deals page.
What we are not claiming
We do not test the products we list, and we publish no ratings, scores, or quality verdicts. Nothing on this site is an endorsement that an item is good. Our subject is the discount: what is marked down, by how much, and when that kind of product is usually cheapest.
Prices and availability come from retailer feeds and change without notice. Every listing shows the date its price was last confirmed. Treat the retailer’s own product page as the final word on price, stock, shipping, and returns.
