BestReviews.deals tracks products that are currently discounted at online retailers in the United States. One question, answered continuously: what is actually marked down right now, and by how much.
What this site is
Most shopping sites are trying to tell you what to buy. This one is not. We do not test products, we publish no ratings, and we have no opinion on whether a given item is worth owning. Those are useful things to know, and other publications do that work.
What we do instead is narrower and, we think, underserved: track the discount itself. Which retailers are cutting prices, on what kinds of products, by how much, and how that compares to the normal rhythm of markdowns in that category. A product being 60 percent off is a fact we can verify against a retailer’s own feed. Whether it is a good product is not.
How we cover it
Listings come from official retailer product feeds, filtered to products discounted at least 30 percent, and rebuilt daily. The mechanics are documented in full on our How We Source Deals page, including what we reject and why.
Alongside the listings, each store page carries a short written briefing: what that retailer sells, where its current markdowns are concentrated, how to tell a real price cut from an inflated reference price, and when discounts in that category tend to peak across the year. These briefings are grounded in the live data for that store. They never claim first hand experience with the products, because we have none.
How we make money
Affiliate commissions, paid by retailers when a visit from this site leads to a purchase. You pay nothing extra. No retailer can buy a listing or a better position, and commission rates play no part in how anything is ordered. The full explanation is on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
What we get wrong
Prices from retailer feeds go stale. Products sell out between one refresh and the next. Reference prices are sometimes inflated by the retailer before we ever see them, and our filters catch the obvious cases but not every case.
So we show the date behind every price, we stop displaying prices that have gone stale, and we say plainly that the retailer’s own page is the authority on what you will pay. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will fix or remove it.
